Welcome
My name is Xavier Zamora. I want to pursue a career in computer science because I have been interested in computers my whole life. I have taught myself things about them, I have done personal research on them, and I've worked with computer hardware as well. I feel that a career in the field of computer science best suits my interests, and since I already know a lot of things about them, it won't be as hard for me to do well if I got a career doing something else.
Video games are an important part of my life. They have always been a place for me to escape the real world and create my own world. The game I have played most is Pokemon, and it has honestly has changed my life. There are more to video games than there seems, and this is what I like about them. They seem simple to the average person, but there is so much more to video games than there seems.
The college I want to go to is Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
I have also applied for a Summer college program at Carleton College.
