This is Chad and this is what I am
This is me. Chad Dangler of Bryan, Ohio. I'm 21 years of age and have lived a very crazy life. That's putting it lightly. Between the ages of 7-10 I underwent 3 heart surgeries to correct a heart valve condition called mitral stenosis. The surgeries included 1 to replace the valve with another normal valve. That failed, so they put in a mechanical mitral valve. During that surgery they noticed that some nerve damage had been done so I had a pacemaker implanted a week or so later.
I bet you thought that was it right? WRONG! I later was discovered to have a coarctation of the aorta. In otherwords an artery in my back was kinked. I had that repaired and things were going well for a year or so and then I was back in trouble. This time I had a malrotatation of my intestines.
That was repaired in 1994. I was good for another 11 years. Then in December of 2005 I passed out in my bathroom one day. I had a bleeding ulcer from the blood thinners I had been put on when I was younger. I must have messed up my dosage or something but I nearly died that night. I spent 17 days in the hospital recovering and in that time I found out that the pace maker that I had for 12 years was running on low. I got that replaced in May of 2006. A month later I was back in the hospital with an infection and continued having to fight it by going to the hospital off and on up until November when they decided the pacemaker system had to go and a new one implanted. I spent a month in the hospital going through the surgery, missing Thanksgiving, and then finding out my Grandma Dangler had passed away. I was released on December 4th and things have been great sense. I've been as healthy as ever.
About why I started this blog. Well I'll be honest there's a lot of things in this world I like, a lot that I don't like. I am on here to give my opinion many things in general. Whether it comes from television, to movie premiers, to other blogs, to new products. Whatever. That's what I'm here to do. It's something I have a deep passion for and I hope you all enjoy it.
