The industry that WDC works in targets an audience at many different levels, categories and groups. Looking at the Socio-cultural Perspective we see a few influences that have been core values of the company. The family entertainment focus that WDC has maintained is now more then ever present in our society. Quality and proper distribution of each business are key forces affecting WDC and the industry. However, WDC must maintain room for movement into the single market in order to increase share. Awareness to trends with regards to the baby-boomers can help avoid hurt for the organization(s) in the future.
