- Writing check list document which includes all the key and important standards and guidelines for
developer's easy reference
- Making training power point presentation for developers of these new standards and guidelines
Usability Test: Graphical Product Synchronization in �Demand Flow Manufacturing� (An
JDE EnterpriseOne Application)
This was the first remote usability test project from India UE and few key activities and responsibilities were:
- Understanding the DFM domain, familiarize with the GPSync application and identifying the key tasks to be tested
- Preparing test plan: This includes defining user task scenarios, design concerns, expected miss steps etc.,
- Preparing facilitator and participant task sheets: This is the reference material for end user and facilitator during the test
- Observing the users during the test and logging all the quantitative data
- Analyzing the test videos and comments to know the user�s behavior pattern, preferences to identify the usability issues
- Based on these analysis and supporting data prepare �Usability test report� which has usability issues identified, solutions and improvement recommendations
- Raising the SAR�s (Software Action Request) based on the test report and severity of the issues
