THE SEA OF LIFE

I'm told our mind distils childhood memories
Such that only what matter remains
I've learnt that right words do give life
This then our awesome power and responsibility

Well we speak or write rightly our life stories
That way, not only do we take from life
But also give back to life
Contributing to its ebb and flow

We could then be said to have lived rightly
Cos' something sprung forth from our depths
     Tending towards 'zoe'
Adding to the sea that is life and alive

                                *** THE END***

Note:
"The Sea of Life" is based on what we know of childhood memories and the power of words. The former would serve as fodder for literature, and what we choose to share of them would add to the sea of life ... only may our sharing be life-affirming.
