After lunch today, I came upon King's Bookz Pte Ltd's temporary stall at the foyer where a security-guard counter is stationed on the ground floor of Golden Shoe Carpark.

"Poachers" by Tom Franklin caught my attention for a literary read. Its review was commendable ,including Philip Roth's comments that 'I can't believe he's not better known. but he will be, and soon.' And, all for the price of S$1.00.

Suffice to say, it was a close encounter of books to rave about. All in, I bought seven good books (yes, all brand new) for my sons and myself at a mere S$21.70. The rest of the titles are as follows:
