Foreword

I believe that we can get more out of life by making each day a success. It starts with this consciousness. If our life is not up to scratch, then something needs to change before it can get better for us to live the kind of life that we yearn for. There are more people who dream of a better life than those who actually attain it. Why is this so? One word: action (as opposed to inaction or, worse still, apathy).

As there are many facets to life, what I intend for us to do here is to approach success by taking a good look at how we can use our resources better on a daily basis. John C. Maxwell said, “You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine.”  The treasures are buried in our own garden after all.

Making a change to our life pattern is both plausible and possible. Many studies have concluded that, in general, it takes about 30 days of consistent practice to change a behaviour pattern. The decision rests with us. Mark Hughes, President and Founder of Herbalife, said, “ I believe that success begins the minute you start working toward your goals. The actions you take to fulfill your dreams and attain your personal desires make you a success today, not the end results you will get tomorrow.”
