Tag Team Wrestling -
a Viable Option for HEW
Garry, HM022
So, after a long and hard search you've managed to find an appropriate
opponent. Together you've had many wrestling bouts with each other.
You've enjoyed all the matches, but you're now looking for something to
provide that bit of extra excitement.
Is arranging a tag-team match the answer?
The first step is to find another couple interested in wrestling. At the moment, with
the apparent lack of women who are applying for a listing in HEW, that appears
unlikely. However, suppose you did find a couple, what next?
In all likelihood, any couple who like wrestling with each other will view this
wrestling as a very personal and private affair. However there are certainly some
couples out there who are perfectly willing to swap their partners for sex, so there
may be people out there who would like to try a tag-team match.
You must the ensure that the couple you have contacted enjoy the same wrestling
style as yourselves. For example, should you enjoy "pleasure" wrestling, you're
going to find yourselves in trouble if facing an opponent who likes "pain" wrestling.
SO, after all this, you've found a couple who are interested in the same wrestling
style as yourselves, and who are willing to get together and take part in a tag-team
match. Now what?
Well, the rules must now be established, in order to make sure that both teams know
what is acceptable. A good idea would be communicate with the couple for some
time before the match takes place.
So there you have it.
I'm mot going to say that a tag-team match would provide the excitement that
you're looking for, and certainly arranging such a match would be problematical at
best. (I have been interested in taking part in a two males match vs two females
match for some considerable time, but haven't been able to.) However it is not
impossible, and you may enjoy it.
If you think this is for you, certainly give it a go.
Editorial Comment:
Anyone interested may contact Garry at his box number. We would strongly
endorse the suggestion that the "teams" correspond for a while before meeting. I
would add the suggestion that early meetings should take place with the intention to
further the contact on a non-physical basis before arrangements are made for an
actual match.
With this amount of care in starting the relationship between the two couples things
should go smoothly. But obviously there is a risk with this sort of venture that
matters could go badly wrong in many ways, so again TAKE CARE!
The combinations are actually quite varied - if the women are smaller than the men
one could equalise by allowing both women in the ring (or designated play area if a
physical ring is not available) at once yet make the men tag. Or the two women
could challenge each man in turn.
The conventionally obvious choice of male and female against male and female is
probably one that most HEW people would avoid, indeed Garry doesn't mention it.
In his game, the males would form a team against the females.
Maybe now that HEW readers realise that Garry doesn't propose the males to meet
in the ring, there'll be some contenders? If so, as I always say, let's have some
articles on what happens! This could give a new life to the unnoffical holds of tag
team wrestling such as the rowing boat and the rocking horse.

I would agree 100% with your reply, TAKE CARE. There are a lot of cranks
around and to them all is as it appears to them not as it is. Garry wants to be very
careful indeed and I would endorse all you have said in response.
The rowing boat manoevre is not the sort of thing the B.W.A. and especially Ace
Sports Promotions encouraged. It is too theatrical and impossible as a real wrestling
move. Still, I suppose some people thought it was amusing if not realistic.
