Nedda Drue Cox Felder Chatfield
Married Naval Air Cadet David Anthony Felder. Moved to Kwajalein in Pacific. Had a child, Tara Claire Felder there. Moved to Quonset Point (North Kingstown, RI) and had second child, Martha Beth Felder. Moved across street into a 9 room beach house, circa 1919. Restored house. DA Felder joined American Airlines after leaving the Navy, and left RI for Texas and Florida and new wives after Martha graduated HS. I consequently married head of music department at CCRI, Arthur Chatfield, who died of cancer 7 years later, and took music out of our lives for a time. He had been a church organist. Took up new life, new jobs, new man. Now am a counselor at Adult Corrections Institutions at Medium Security as a counselor. Pleasant work, and lucrative. State job. No sense in retiring!! Tara Claire Felder lives in Bellingham WA with 3 horses, a mule, two large dogs and many chickens. Martha Beth Felder (who married a Cox from Texas) lives with me in beach house. We have 4 cats. I have a life friend who is a retired Marine Colonel, a painter, and a very good companion, who has a studio in the woods nearby. It's been a most romantic and exciting life. I can only hope that it will go on for quite some time.
