This letter is a satire. Though the events about myself losing my child to adoption is completely accurate, including that I am unable to have children now, I do not want to adopt. I don't want anyone to terminate their legal rights to their family members. My own experience was supposed to be an open adoption, but don't be fooled, because a mother does not have any legal right to her child once she surrenders the child. If you try to pursue, and to get legal rights to your child, or if you try to get visits, pictures, updates, etc, and the adoptive parents have decided they simply don't want to bother with you, then you have no rights. No lawyer will want to take your case, and it is likely that you will be considered crazy for wanting to interfere with your child's life. It is also very common, that when a mother loses her child, that time stops, and we are unable to move on in life, no matter what. Time stands still, and we are always thinking about our child, what they are doing, if they are happy, and even wondering if they are still alive. For myself, I do not know. If you are a lawyer, and you would like more information or to take my case and can practice in Florida, please email me at feyler77(nospam)yahoo.com (Just delete (nospam) and replace with the @ symbol). This prevents spam from getting into my account. Thank you. |
