Judy's comments:
This is our first bicycle trip, and even though it was a wet trip, it does not dampen our spirits to try a similar trip again. The cycling and the extra weight of the panniers on the bikes was not difficult. Even putting the bikes together and taking them apart and fixing the flat tires was not difficult. It was the rain that made it so uncomfortable and made us just want to get from point A to point B each day.
We were proud of ourselves for completing the 500 km. trip under such adverse conditions and would not hesitate to try another adventure in the future.
