Item S36 - Jessica's Melange - This segmented vase was designed and constructed using an unknown number of various domestic and exotic woods. It's design is new and this is a prototype as I work out the method to more easily construct them this way. The colors and woods are random and this piece was constructed over a period of about 11 to 14 days due to the large amount of glue drying times. I have not found one anywhere that was constructed in the same manner or in a similar manner as this type was so I consider the style as my own and am calling it melange segmentation. The colors shown are the natural colors of the woods. The dimensions are 4 inches high and 6 inches wide. This item is priced at $198 with shipping and packaging an additional $8. As of June 1st 2007 only 4 of this type exist.
