Latino Pride was awesome! We palyed during the social hour, after the speeches and we were well received and got lots of compliments and applause after each song we played. We even expanded our play list to include an extra song. So we played Kats Biaio, New Biaio, 6/8, Samba de marche...We rocked!

Then we went to the ballroom and played while the contestents of Miss Latino Pride were  announced and worked the runway!  We also marched around the room but our route was cut short due to so many people in the room. Thanks to Judith for whistling us in and keeping us playing in the mist of the confusion and wild night! We were invited to stay, and had great food and desserts and the entertainment was great. We had a resource table and recruited, and I spoke  to one of the grand marshells in the pride parade about marching  with one of the Latino groups.   We also had a lot of gay boys dancing to our beat, and learned a new trick drumming with lube.
