Haibane Renmei*
This one is a great anime with storyline and arts by Yoshitoshi ABe. The story starts with Rakka falling from sky, later to find that she is inside a coccoon without knowing her identity and where she is. She later found herself in a place that is separated totally from outside world with a large wall surrounding the place. And also surrounded by people with wings! She later grows pair of wing on her back, suggesting that she herself is part of these people known as 'haibane'... This anime is a must-watch-anime for Yoshitoshi ABe fans and for those who loves weird anime^_^.
Lain*
Arts by Yoshitoshi ABe, this is another example of greatness of Yoshitoshi ABe drawing. In this anime, the background drawings are not as detail as in Haibane Renmei, I would rather say artistic type of drawings. You'll confuse yourself watching this anime, so you got to be prepared mentally. One of my friend even dozed off through out the anime... The anime is based on a game with the same title, about this Lain which end up 'jisatsu'ing herself at the end of the game. I mean suicide. But the anime I think is a milder version of the game, but still quite confusing. In the anime, Lain starts up being the most computer illiterate among her peers, later becomes the most powerful hacker among hackers. If you love your computer, you got to watch this psychotic anime... Yes. You'll become psychotic a bit.
Texhnolyze*
Yoshitoshi ABe is the one that do the original artwork for this anime. Great anime though. Lots of blood and violence in this anime, making it anime targeted for mature audience. The story is as usual a little bit confusing (like other anime in which Yoshitoshi ABe is involved). The story is about texhnolyze technology, enabling human to have prosthetic limbs which are more powerful than the original ones. Also about internal conflicts between cities and yakuza groups, those supporting texhnolyze technology and those who go against the technology. And the liberation of the city by texhnolyzed people. Lastly, the fall of texhnolyze and everything. Nothing is left. [Links: Official Texhnolyze Website (Japanese), English Texhnolyze Website.]
NieA under 7
Waratte waratte! This anime is just for fun. About under 7 class of alien nieA who lives with Mayuko, the main character in this anime. Lots of stupid things happen in the anime, it's just fun to watch it. The animation is just average though but worth watching.

By CLAMP (mostly done by Mokona Apapa)
Chobits*
Great anime from CLAMP. The style of art in this anime somehow different from typical Mokona Apapa's drawing. It is somewhat simpler style of drawing. If you read the manga, you'll notice the difference. This anime is about Hideki and the Persocon (Personal Computer) that he accidentally found on his way home at the dump site. The story revolves around the implication of having persocon in human form and how chii (the persocon) develops human feeling. This story is somehow for adult, a mix of humor and hentai, along with the philosophical and social aspect of having this kind of persocon (if you realy think of it). However if you just want to watch funny anime, this anime also has funny side of it (lots of it). This is a good anime to watch.
X*
The drawing in this anime is really typical of Mokona Apapa, and based on manga with the same name. This is one of the greatest artwork by Mokona Apapa. The other one is Clover, which is not very popular though because the story is just too philosophical and weird (only popular among Mokona Apapa fanatics). The anime is mainly about the battle between Chi no Ryuu (Dragon of Earth) and Ten no Ryuu (Dragon of Earth). The main character, Kamui determines the fate of earth, if he chooses to join Chi no Ryuu, he will end up destroying the earth, and if he chooses to be a Ten no Ryuu, he will save the earth. Either way, Fuuma, his childhood close friend will become his archrival. Each of the Ten no Ryuu have to protect their area, and the Chi no Ryuu have to destroy each of the area to destroy the world, and the last one is Toukyo Tower (somehow Japan is the center of the world ^_^). The story somehow is based on Book of Revelation. There are lots of fighting scenes in this anime, and it is somehow one of great animes that every anime lover have to watch.
Card Captor Sakura*
Just go to my website here. Cuteness is the strong point of the anime ^_^. You'll spend lots of time watching the anime (70+ episodes).
Mahoukishi Rayearth
Also known as Magic Knight Rayearth. About 3 girls magically transported into another world, Sephiro, to be the Magic Knights, and save the world from evil power that wants to destroy it. Straight forward though. As a CLAMP fan, you must watch this.
Kidou Tenshi Angelic Layer
Arts mostly done by Mick Nekoi. About a girl that was left by her mother in her childhood, going to tranfer to school in Toukyo, where her mother lives while being treated for her disability. While on her way to her auntie's house, she accidentally watch a match between two angels (fighting dolls) on TV, and fall in love with one of the fighting angel. After knowing that she also can have that, she bought her own angel. Then the story goes on how she manages to fight her way to the national tournament, and in final battle fight the angel she loves most, which turns out to be her mother's angel.

Ayashi no Ceres
About Aya, with the strong blood of Ceres. (Naahh... don't want to talk about Aya, let's talk about Ceres). By having this kind of blood, her family want to kill her in order to avoid Ceres to appear, and get rid of the family. Suddenly she unleashes the power of Ceres, and manages to run away, with help from this guy called Touya (naah let's about someone else). Having strong blood of Ceres, she can turn completely to Ceres, with her hatred against the family, who killed her in the past. It is when Ceres comes out, the story turns out to be very good, yeah, sou omotta. Based on manga with the same name. Great anime with great story line, although I get irritated with the main characters (Aya and Touya) with their endless rabu rabu scenes. But Ceres is really kakkoi ;), no doubt about that.
Fushigi Yuugi
One of the earliest anime that I've watched. About two girls absorbed/sucked into an old book called Book of 4 Gods, later become the miko for Seiryuu and Suzaku. And the fights between Seiryuu side and Suzaku side (sorry, I mentioned Seiryuu first). The main couple in this anime really irritates me, so please support my Hongo Yui, the great Seiryu no Miko. This anime is based on one of the her bestselling manga, Fushigi Yuugi. She started her career as a mangaka at the of 17, and this is her first manga, which turns out to be very good. Recently she came out with Fushigi Yuugi Genbu Kaiden, about the origin of the Book of 4 Gods. I like the Seiryuu no Miko or Yui in this anime, have a look at my website here.

By Naoto Tenhiro
Sister Princess & Sister Princess RePure*
Really love it. Cute drawing by Naoto Tenhiro. This anime is based on PS game with the same name. I don't think this anime has any clear storyline though, but the anime is just way too cute. In the Sister Princess, a guy who does not mix well with people with the only aim to get into the best college. This guy, the top student in his school, somehow fail the exam to enter the college, while other students manage their way to the college (this starts to be illogical). Then after returning home, his caretaker says that he already confirmed that he can go to one college in this one isolated island. With everything already prepared for him, he is thrown in the back of a lorry with all the luggages the very minute he returns home. Then he arrives and later abandoned at a pier with a boat already there waiting for him to bring him to the island. After arriving at the island he starts to meet these cute girls one after another (there are twelve of them, who later turn out to be his sisters!

In Sister Princess Repure, the story goes on about how each sisters feels for their only brother (Described as "Sekai ni tada hitori no onii-chan"). The story becomes a lot more weird but the animation is better in Repure. I don't recommend this anime for those who hates cute anime. But Naoto Tenhiro drawing is really amazing though. I love it.
