William Dorin then enters with Desiree the Harpie of this court returning from a prolonged stay in Paris observing the courts of love and attending matters with her sire.

Jervais, (Portly short Frenchman) makes an appearance at court to inform the court of the arrival of his lordship Hardistadt, lord of the fiefs of the black cross. He says that his lordship holds court in different cities within his domain and is coming to Vienna soon,

Everyone departs from court separately or in small groups to go enjoy the Carnival located on the south end out side the city walls.

At the Carnival one can find rare animals, fire jugglers, monstrosities, a Circus tent in the many attractions.
 
Max the scourge of the domain as a misunderstanding with one of the tigers which then leads to the discovery that the animal handler is canite and so are at least two of her assistants. Though the party takes great effort in talking to the animal handler her assistants refuse as she is too occupied with the show to take time off. They do state that they have no interest in entering the city and thus the domain of Prince Innsberg, as such they are left be.

The Party returns to Elysium shortly before the closure of this session minor matters are settle and court adjourns.
