Going to investigate, you come across a swift running river. Well, now you know what the sound was, but the river is impossible to pass over. You hear a soft pop, and Lya is standing beside you. She smiles, green eyes flashing merrily. "You'll have to use the bridge if you want to get across. But you'll be going into my territory. You're welcome there, of course. But don't cross unless you mean to join." She disappears with another small pop. It is easy enough to find the bridge she had indicated.
