THE ELECTRONIC MUSIC

The electronic music is based on the coalition of rhythms taken place by electronic instruments that form cheerful compositions. The electronic music needs the participation of instruments like tasters, synthesizers and computers; at the present time it is very accepted especially in the youths, and the music transmits a cheerful and amusing atmosphere.

HISTORY

The electronic music began starting from 1897 with the invention of a apparatus that called the teleharmonium, however this instrument didn't cause a lot of impact because it was very big and it weighed 7 tons. In the years 1919-1920 big precursors of the electronic music emerge and new instruments called the theremin and the ondes martenot were created. Around the Second World War the electronic music caught force and progressive rhythms were created due to the use of new instruments like the synthesizer and some people stood out: Pierre Henry, Pierre Boulez, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Edgar Beaches and Steve Reich. After the Second World War the first signatures of electronic music began and the first disks are created in the 60s; starting from the 70s the electronic music began to be popularized and the new more modern and cheaper synthesizers began to be used with a lot of frequency and this instrument generate new sounds. In the 90s the electronic music was developed completely and some derivations began, electronic instruments were used for the jazz, the industrial music, the techno, the house, the blue among others.

Afterward began the djs that take charge of generating sounds that vary a lot, from soft sounds as the jazz until stronger sounds as the tribal and the house appear. At the moment the electronic music has great impact in the youths and are many the artists and groups that generate this music; this music is listened in many clubs and discos.

ELECTRONIC PLACES

In the world stand out some places for their electronic atmosphere, it could be said that the main one is Ibiza, in many countries the electronic music is important as in United States, France, Germany and Switzerland, they stand out the night clubs and the discos that in general maintain full. In Colombia the electronic scene is given in the main cities like Bogotá, Medellin and Cali; they cities have the main night clubs and discos. In Medellin the youths like of the electronic music and exist discos, the principal discos are La Fortaleza, Capital Club, Sessions Club among others for adult people; but there are also some discos for smaller people, the principals are Seven Eleven club and The Crazy’s Club. The discos have in their majority two atmospheres, the electronic zone is the principal, although the other zone is the crossover and it is very important.

WARDROBE

People that listen electronic music or the electronic artists in general dress in an uncomplicated and sometimes outlandish way with colored hair or the use of showy and cheerful colors.
