Wow, has it seriously been almost a month since I've written in my journal! That's bad! Well, sorry about that journal addicts.
Well on the brighter side, now I have a lot of stuff to update you on.
Many of you didn't know that Chris left his job at Michael's and he was unemployed for 2 weeks in July...but nothing to worry about because he now works for Big Lots and is making more money than he was at Michael's. He seems much happier there too.
I finished and submitted my 2nd degree final and yesterday I got my grade back. I PASSED!!! I'm now officially in the 3rd degree training program. My 2nd degree Initiation will be in the Fall sometime. I have a meeting with Lady Raven tonight on AIM about what path my 3rd Degree training will follow as it is a more personalized study than the previous degrees. If I'm right, I believe I'm only the 2nd male to reach the 3rd degree.
Last night was 1st Degree Initiations for those who completed their 1st degree final. I had quite a few friends getting initiated so I was there. Boy, did that bring back memories. I had my 1st Degree Initiation little over a year ago. It was a beautiful experience being on the other side of the 1st degree looking back at them being Initiated. LOL!
It's almost new tattoo time. In fact, I was supposed to get it tonight as Chris' "Congratulations on completing 2nd Degree" present to me...but the meeting with Lady Raven tonight halted those plans. So, for right now the tattoo is postponed for an undetermined date, but it will be soon.
I'm quiting my violin lessons. I just don't have the time to dedicate to practicing and I just don't see the point in paying for something that my heart isn't 100% into. One of these days, I'm sure I'll go back. But, for now, I have a lot that's gonna be going on with the College that I can't spread myself thin.
My friend Marco, who lives in Mexico City, is coming up for a visit. He's supposed to call me at some point during his stay here in the states so we can hang out. I knew Marco from work when he lived here in the U.S. He moved to Mexico in March or April of 2002 I believe. I can't wait to see him.
On that same note, my friend Shylah from Long Island, New York is coming to visit as well. I get custody of her from Sunday the 17th until Thursday the 21st. After which time, I give her to Sheryl, a mutual friend of ours in San Diego. I've never met Shylah in person, so this should be a lot of fun! Shylah was a former student at the College.
If you haven't noticed yet, the website is under construction. All pages except for the journal and the imagination station have been deleted. I don't know when I'll get around to building the new pages because I'm so busy at work now, but don't worry, the journal pages will be kept open through the whole thing. I'm even considering changing my page URL to my SBC address. We'll see.
Well for now, I believe that's it. I hope you're all doing well and I will try to do better with the journal. Yeah, I know...you've heard that before. LOL!
Talk to y'all soon!
Love always-
Chris
