Hello Everybody!
I hope everybody is having a great week. Mine is going pretty well. My week is going pretty quickly too. I can't believe it's already Thursday.
Well, I did learn a new tune in my violin lesson last week. It is called "Lightly Row". It is a pretty easy tune but a little more involved than "Twinkle, Twinkle". However, I blew Andrew away yesterday at my lesson by having the entire song down from start to finish. Now, I just have to work on making it sound good and getting the timing just right. He almost gave me a new tune to learn because I learned "Lightly Row" so quickly, but he decided against it. I'm so happy that I'm really catching on to this.
I talked to my mom yesterday and she's doing much better. She moving around some but she's still unable to do housework, which is driving her absolutely nuts. I told her to just enjoy it because before she knows it the time will be up and she'll be back at work and wishing she had 2 months off.
An interesting thing happened earlier this week. I had a guy write me who is a fellow gay Turlock survivor. It seems he typed "gay Turlock Highschool" into a search engine and found me. He was so entertained that he wrote me. I wrote him back but haven't heard from him since. So,Phil, if you're reading this...write me back. You live in L.A., maybe we can hang out.
Well, kids, I guess that's about it for now. Talk to y'all soon. Oh, I forgot to mention. I have a date on Saturday. Don't get too excited...it won't lead to anything. He's not really my type. If anything, he'll become a friend. Have a great week and a wonderful weekend!
