Wow, April is half over! Can you believe it? 2003 seems to be flying by in a blur.
O.K., now for updates on my life. This weekend, my friend Christy is coming down for a visit. I haven't seen her in ages...well, not exactly ages, but it has been quite a few months. It'll be nice spending some time with her. I can't wait for her to meet Roxie, see the new car, and listen to me scratch away on the violin. LOL! Christy...you have officially been warned! She's an avid reader of my journal page...that's how she gets most of her information about what's goin' on in my life. LOL!
Roxie was sick (see Christy, you knew that before everybody) but she's better now and is eating again. It was quite scary there a couple of weeks ago. She stopped eating and drinking and was getting really weak. We were going to go up North to visit family and friends, but when we thought she might be sick we cancelled it...good thing we did too. She got increasingly worse over that weekend and took her to 2 vets. I'm so glad she's o.k. She's now playful like a puppy should be.
My mom went into surgery last week to have a cyst or tumor (non-cancerous, thank Goddess) removed from her utereus. Everything went well except they couldn't find her veins to put the IV in. So after surgery, her arm was badly bruised and she had quite a few holes in it. She is now taking it easy at home as she can't go back to work for at least 2 months.
Violin is still going well, nothing new to report there. I have a lesson today and we'll probably be going over the same techniques. Andrew says I'll probably be working on these techniques and Twinkle, Twinkle for another onth before we move on. That's fine with me.
Chris has been working his ass off lately trying to get his department at work under control once and for all. Sunday and into Monday, he worked a total of 16 hours. He did a lot of overnights last week to prepare for inventory as well.
How about my love life? Still non-existant, which is fine with me. Tomorrow evening I'm supposed to be meeting a guy that I met online months ago. He wanted to hook up back then just for sex and anybody who knows me knows that I'm not that type of guy. I've never had sex with a complete stranger and I honestly have no idea if I could. I know I'm physically capable of it, I just don't know if mentally I could. Well anways, we're going to go to his place and watch a movie and I'm sure he'll try to make the moves. We'll see.
