Hey there again!
Well it's Friday!!!! YAY!!! I don't have anything planned for this weekend, although I do think I need to do a little laundry. I'm running outta socks. LOL!
O.K. well since the last time I wrote there have been some major changes in the College. I really can't discuss them, but the Student Council Meeting last Friday was UGLY!! We have another meeting today to discuss how to pick up the pieces and move on after the departure of 2 important people. While the winds of destruction and bitterness were blowing, there is a vast potential of change and growth from this. I'm excited about what is to come. Along with the Student Council, the departure of these 2 people has left massive holes all over the College boards, the SMPDA is one of 'em. We [the SMPDA] had a meeting last night that ended up being a discussion on how to carry on. All in all, the changes will be very beneficial I think.
I had a Healing Circle on Tuesday that focused on my friend FairyButterfly because she is undergoing chemo for cancer. Luckily they caught it early enough. We didn't go to the Astral Temple this time though. I brought everybody to one of the new Healing altars. I think everybody including myself enjoyed the change and I know quite a few of them were very surprised at the change. I love keeping people on their toes.
Well last weekend, Chris and I drove all over the place to enjoy the new freedom of mobility we now have. :) Friday night, after the ugly Student Council Meeting, we hopped in the car and ended up at Long Beach. We got out of the car, inhaled the fresh Ocean air, and then got back in the car and drove down PCH. Saturday we went to WEHO and did some shopping. Sunday, Chris had to work so I stayed at home a played on the computer.
My violin lesson on Wednesday went very well. Andrew was still impressed with how well I'm picking things up. By next week, I'll know all the notes in the 1st position. Well almost all, he hasn't taught me pinkie placement yet, but that is the same as the next open string or the index finger placement in the 3rd position. He says that in a few more weeks I should be about ready to play some music. Yay!!!
