O.K. O.K., I know what you're thinking. Wow, 2 journal entries in 1 week...what's the deal? Well today is a very special day.
HAPPY 28TH ANNIVERSARY MOM AND DAD!!
On top of that, there have been some interesting events that have taken place since Tuesday.
Well, yesterday there was a big earthquake in Mexico and 23 people were killed. I was a little worried about my friend Marco who lives in Mexico City. After finding out about the earthquake, I checked my e-mail and there was one from him. Whew! So he's o.k. He wanted me to call his family here in California to let 'em know that he was o.k., since his calls to the U.S. weren't going through. So I did that for him.
Also yesterday, I got an e-mail from an old highschool friend of my sister Sheri's whom I had only met once. It seems she has been trying to find Sheri for quite awhile with no success....until she finds my website!! Woohoo! I knew this site would come in handy someday. LOL! Anyways, I talked with E, Sheri's friend a bit online and told her that I would call Sheri when I get off work. So, I did that as well.
Sheri is doing well. My niece, nephew, and brother-in-law are all doing terrificly. Sheri seemed really happy to hear that E was looking for her. Sheri apologized for not writing me back but I told her not to worry about it, after all, she has 2 kids. She also said that when Austin is old enough to make his own decisions and if he wants to then I can teach him Wicca! YAY!!!
Topher has taken up beading. He has finally taken my advice and decided to get a hobby. Last night, while we were watching a movie, he created this beautiful choker out of hemitite bead with silver spacers and silver suns. It is gorgeous! I may have to steal it from him! LOL! Also, Topher finally has a day off. He didn't have to go into work today. Thank Goddess for that! The bitchiness may actually be avoided. I'm sensing he may be making me a necklace today out of hematite and some blue glass beads he bought. I'll keep you posted as to whether or not my hunch was right.
I talked to my dad and Tricia last night too. I guess I hadn't called in awhile and they were getting worried. LOL! My mom was at work at the time, but I'm sure she'll be happy to hear that I am o.k. Not much goin' on there...as usual. Tricia may actually ask for some time off from work and visit Southern California at the end of June or early July. She wants to get a tattoo so we'll probably do that while she's down here. (Marlena, don't tell her...but I think I'll pay for the tattoo for her. So shhhh!) LOL!
Alrighty, so other than that, I believe that's about it. Oh, Christy and Kate got a kick ass SUV. I can't wait to see it.
