Hello All!
Can you believe that we're just about half way through with January? Where the hell is it goin'? LOL!
Topher's friend of 20+ years, Jodi, got married on Sunday. It was a beautiful and simple wedding. It was my first wedding ever and I almost cried. However, I danced a little close to Bacchus at the reception and wound up extremely drunk by 5 p.m. and passed out. Luckily we were home by then. After I woke up at 9 p.m., I made offerings of my internal organs until 3 a.m. Monday morning. When all the heaving was over, I decided I probably shouldn't go to work. So, I woke up at my usual time (5:30) and called in sick. While the wedding was beautiful and the reception was fun, my state was the single most disgusting and frightening drunken experiences I have ever had in my entire life. I never want to experience that again. Needless to say, I smoked on Sunday since I was so hammered, but I haven't smoked since then and today is my 2 week point of quiting. As you can see, though I faltered, I'm not going to count my stupidty that day as going back to square one.
So other than that...there really isn't much else going on in my life. I hope you all had great weekends and that you're having wonderful weeks. Talk to y'all later.
