Once again, I feel the need to apologize for not keeping my journal up to date. My excuse this time - I've been busy getting the lessons for my class at the College of the Sacred Mists together. I've started the intro. part and that seems to be going well, but I'd like to have the lessons for Litha/Summer Solstice/Midsummer completely done by the end of the week so I can submit them to Lady Raven and Cleo.
Magic Mountain was great. X wasn't open and I was kinda bummed about that. It looks like a really kick ass coaster. I went on Goliath 3 times and had my hands up for the second and third time. I never put my hands up on my first attempt at a ride. All in all it was a great day. I really enjoyed getting to know some of Chris' co-workers. We're planning on going back in August, perhaps I can get some of my co-workers to go as well.
Things with L seem to be going well. Her influx of clients has cooled a little, but I'm expecting a massive growth spurt soon. B (her love) went to the Bahamas for a family wedding. L was supposed to go, but it was decided when things went ugly that it was probably a good idea that she didn't go. However, I get the feeling that B wants her there and I really think she's going.
Christy is coming down this weekend. She'll be staying with us until Tuesday morning then she's going to San Diego to hang out with Kate and friends. She'll return to O.C. on Thursday evening and then Friday we (Chris, Christy, Kate, and I) will be heading up to Turlock. We aren't planning to leave until late on Friday so in the morning I'm heading over to County Health and getting an HIV test. It has been about 1 1/2 since I've had one and it's about time for me to get checked again.
I submitted my lesson 13 homework, it was graded, and was returned to me yesterday. I can now move on to lesson 14, which deals with journals and magickal record keeping. I'm actually finished with the lesson already and will be submitting the homework either today or tomorrow. After lesson 14 is returned, all I have left is lesson 15 and then the final.
