This has been a really good weekend! Friday evening, Chris and I had a few beers and tested out our new webcam online. All in all, it worked out pretty well. It was definitly much better than the old webcam we had.
Saturday, we went to the Disney parks. First, we went to Disney California Adventures to test out the digital cam portion of our new camera. As you can tell by the new photo on the opening page, it's not bad in that respect either. We then went to Downtown Disney for a little while to see if there was anything to take pictures of for my family. Since my parents and sisters haven't seen the new additions; we decided to keep Downtown Disney as surprise for them. We, then, hopped on the monorail and went into Disneyland. We rode Space Mountain and decided that it was time to eat. We tried to decide on something inside Disneyland, but ultimately decided to go to the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney. We only had to wait about 20 minutes before we were given a table. I think it's because the hot guy at the front desk thought we were cute. His name was Mike. I ended up eating the Crab Cakes and Chris had a some type of Barbeque Wrap. After dinner, we were entirely stuffed and decided to head home.
When we got off the bus, we went to Blockbuster and rented 2 movies. We were looking for a copy of "13 Ghosts" but it was all checked out. So we got "The Frightners", which sucks, and "Momento", which was excellent. After watching those, we went to bed.
Today was just a lazy Sunday. I attempted to make homemade Seitan and both batches failed. I'll have to try again next week. Chris thinks it was the type of flour I used. I think he's right. We rented more movies. This time we got a copy of "13 Ghosts". We also rented "Angela's Ashes" and "Bring Out the Dead". All of these movies were really good! After "13 Ghosts", we went to bed, since we both had to be up early and have to struggle with the time change.
That was about it for the weekend. Talk to y'all again soon.
