It's yucky and grey here this morning. I'm hoping the sun comes out soon. I received a letter from my older sister, Sheri, today. In it were 2 pictures (the same ones, just one was on a certificate) of my niece Ashley Ann, who was born almost a month ago. Also there was a letter that informed me that she got married on the 1st of April (the letter was post marked the 1st). So now I have a brother-in-law as well. His name is Jason and he is Ashley's father. So now my sister is Sheri Schiffner, which means I need to update my family page. I haven't met Jason yet but from what I hear he's about the same age as my little sis, Tricia (20). My family has given Sheri a lot of shit about this because of the age difference, but it is no different from the age between Chris and I and the age between Tricia and Jimi. The only difference is that she went to a younger man, whereas Tricia and I went for older. My nephew, Austin, seems to like Jason and refered to him as "Dad" before Ashley was born. I'm very happy for Sheri. She's had very little happiness in her life and I hope this is just the beginning of bigger and better things for her. CONGRATULATIONS SHERI AND JASON! I love you both very much!
Well it turns out I won't be getting my Tink tattoo this weekend because we spent a little more at the grocery store than expected. Who would've thought that going vegetarian could be so expensive to start out with? Chris has made me a promise that we'll take $10 out of my paychecks every week until we have enough to get my tattoo. He wants me to have it before we go back to Turlock at the end of May.
