Well March is over and now it's April. March seemed to just fly by for me. I've officially cut down my number of cigarettes a full week as of today. A couple more weeks at 10, then I'll cut down to 8 cigarettes a day. I think I'm handling the change pretty well.
Well today is an extremely boring day. With the holiday over and people still out, the phones are relatively dead. I sent my first reiki lesson to my first student. His name is Shadow and lives in Pennsylvania. He's a really great guy! I'm sure he'll go far and help many with Reiki.
I finished my first knitting project. It was a red pillow and it turned out pretty good for a first project. I'm currently working on some slippers now to practice my purl and ribbing stitches. The project after that is probably going to be some rainbow dish towels and dish rags that I promised my friend Christy. Then I'll return to the pillow pattern to make the purple pillow. I eventually want all the colors of the rainbow.
Well, Topher and I finished the last package of meat in our freezer and tonight we begin our semi-vegetarian lifestyle. I say semi-vegetarian because we will still be eating fish, eggs, milk, and cheese. We can't seem to give up fish quite yet, but who knows what the future holds. If my parents hear I'm giving up meat, they're going to flip out. I was raised on a cattle ranch, so my family are massive carnivores. I was the same way until recently when I cut out the majority of beef out of my diet and now I've decided to cut out most meat. We'll see how this experiment goes. I think every once in awhile I may need to eat a hamburger. LOL!
I may be getting my Tinkerbell tattoo this week, if all goes well with the budget. This month I get 5 paychecks, so it allows Chris and I to play a little bit more. Chris has had his most recent tattoo almost a year and now it's my turn for a new tattoo. I think I've been patient enough.
Chris closes tonight, so I'm going to be home all by myself. Which should be nice, it'll give me time to relax in a nice hot tub of water. Well, I guess that's about it for today.
