MARCH 29, 2002

This morning started about the same as any Friday morning. Chris had to be at work at 5 a.m. so I had to wake him at 4:15 a.m. Then, I went back to sleep until the alarm went off at 5:30 a.m. I got up and took my shower and got dressed for work. Today I'm wearing slightly faded jeans, a navy blue, baby blue, and yellow horizontal striped shirt, black slip on boots, and a black belt. I went out and had a smoke, which is the only one I have at home in the morning, since I've cut down from 20 cigarettes/day to only 10 cigarettes/day. My next smoke is right before I go into work. I made myself some breakfast, a scrambled egg and bacon burrito. I brushed my teeth, fixed my hair, and lotioned up my arms. I put on my watch, my necklace, and my rings. After all that was done, I had 15 minutes before it was time for me to leave for work. So, I sat on the couch and tranced out for a little while.
Then it was time to leave and walk to work. As I was walking to work, I noticed my neck was a bit stiff and I was starting to develope a headache. So after I finished my pre-work smoke, I went inside. I made the coffee and took a couple of Advil's. Once the coffee was done, I poured myself a cup and went to my desk. I checked the voicemails from overnight and there was nothing of substance. I distributed the faxes that had been received overnight and then checked my e-mail.
It is one of my favorite things to do in the mornings at work. I love checking my e-mail! After I went through and answered my e-mails, I read what was happening in the world on Yahoo News. I don't watch the news on T.V. anymore because I don't like being bombarded with the negativity I see. At least by reading it, I can pick and choose what I put into my mind. After the news, I decided to create an entry in my Radical Faeries experience section since I went to a Heart Circle last night. After I had completed that, I decided to write this entry and so far this is how my day was. I'll be back to add more as my day progresses.
Well the headache is gone. The phones were really busy up until about noon, when they completely died out. It was pretty much dead for the rest of the afternoon, since most people probably left early for the Easter weekend. I left at my usual time, 5:00 p.m., and headed home.
When I got home Topher greeted me and wanted to know if I'd like to rent some movies. I said that sounded good so we went to Hollywood Video and rented some classics I hadn't seen yet. The rest of the evening we watched movies. That's about it for March 29, 2002.
