Hey there everybody! I hope you all had beautiful weekends. I had a wonderful weekend. Well since I wrote last, my mom celebrated her birthday on the 12th. I hope you had a great birthday Mom, even though I know you're not reading this. Oh Marlena, I told my parents (well my mom) about the breakup. Friday came and went without much excitement. Saturday, I went Holiday/Yule/Chrismas shopping. As is customary with Chris and I, we spread out our gift giving throughout the month of December, mostly because we're impatient and partially because our different religious holidays. So far I have given Chris a new body pillow, a talking Scooby-Doo (which he loves), 2 Dream Pillows, a bag for his Tarot cards, Beauty and the Beast on DVD, Barbra Streisand's new duet album, and a Santa boxers and hat set. There are 3 more gifts for him to receive, one he will open on Yule, one on Christmas Eve, and the other on Christmas morning. So far from Chris, I have gotten a the God single by Tori Amos, a book I've wanted called Fire-Bringer, new black shoes for work, and the icing on the cake which he wanted to save for Christmas Day but was unable to...A VIOLIN!!! I have always wanted one and have wanted to learn how to play the violin AND NOW I CAN!!! YAY! Unfortunately, while Chris was tuning it he broke 2 of the strings. LOL! He was so upset about breaking my present. He's getting it fixed today. Now I have to work Violin lessons (which are $65/month at the place where Chris bought the violin) into my budget. There are still 4 gifts under the tree for me from him.
Since Chris may actually read my journal, I will not tell you the rest of what I got him. I just know he'll love them all.
Communication between Tim and I has fizzled. Since the last time I wrote, I've only talked with him online once, which was yesterday, and though he just woke up, I felt like he thought I was intruding on him somehow. We still haven't talked on the phone, which I have put most of the effort into doing. I realize he is an actor with a job and many friends, so he is busy, but still...he should try to make some time (if even 10 minutes)for me if he is interested. So, I will just sit back and see what happens. While I would like to see something develope between the 2 of us...I'm not going to get my hopes up too high.
I finally got my haircut yesterday. Yay! It was starting to get a little unmanageable.
