Gently carry me in your arms
For the day has been long and tiring.
Protect me forever from harms
And whisper words inspiring.
Sing me songs sweetly
And hold me close to you.
To the Dreamland I go fleetly
And fly among the blue.
Until the morning rises
And the dawn rudely breaks
Ill wear hats of many sizes
And swim in enchanted lakes.
The Fairies shall meet me there
And watch me oh so near.
Making sure my dreams are fair
And Ill return to you my dear.
