With key in hand, I lock the door behind me.
Not knowing where I�m going, I begin the journey.
Perhaps I�ll watch the sunrise and sunset upon a day
At that moment when I am once again renewed and reborn

Today is the day, today I disappear for awhile.
As I say a silent farewell to it all, I begin to smile.
It is time to discover myself and finally be free.
Knowing I�ll miss those I love, I�ve missed myself more.
Maybe I�ll go to the mountains or find love on a distant shore.
Not knowing what is ahead or what is on the path for me.
As I contemplate the states and affairs of my life.
And at the end, into the ocean I will throw all cares and strife,
And upon the new days dawning, a new me will walk away.
I shall head my way back to the ones I�ve missed so dearly
The ones that I want to hold close to me so tightly and nearly.
And they shall recognize me by the smile that on my face is adorn.
