VIDEO GAMER X'S TOP 100 VIDEO GAMES OF ALL TIME

I've been playing video games since I could barely hold a controller back in the mid eighties. Geez, has it been that long, it almost scares me how long it's been since those times.

#1. Shenmue: Chapter 1 - This game is phenomenal. I put it at the top because this was my ultimate gaming experience to date, and represented the enevidable future of gaming. It incompassed everything, although stunted in length, Shenmue is only the first part of a multichapter series of games. Excellent graphics, spoken dialogue, and engrossing plot, immersive gameplay, this game is almost perfect in many regards.
#2. Final Fantasy VII - In 1997, this game blew the socks off anyone who saw it. Nothing like it came before, and it represented so many innovations in video games as well as RPG's as a whole.
#3. Zelda: The Ocarina of Time - I honestly think this should be a tie with Final Fantasy VII but I suppose I had to pick the next place for it. Ocarina of Time was not only a new experience of fans of the Zelda series is won accolades and awards. It was revolutionary in terms of actualizing gaming in it's truest form.
#4. Xenogears - If you've ever played this RPG, you would know why I put it here. This game as the best plot and character development of any game I've ever played. This even beats Final Fantasy VII in terms of plot depth at times, but there were only a few things I could think of in terms of graphics that kept it from surpassing Final Fantasy VII. The game was also the longest RPG, I've ever played. I swore it took me 100 hours to fully explore and complete this game.
#5. Final Fantasy IX - I've got to admit this is Squaresoft's opus in the modern era, soon to be surpassed by Final Fantasy X for the Playstation 2, but it truly brought together many of the things that made the prior Final Fantasy games so great.
#6. Chrono Trigger
#7. Zelda III: A Link to the Past
#8. Metal Gear Solid
#9. Final Fantasy VI
#10 Final Fantasy VIII
#11 Chrono Cross
#12 Secret of Mana
#13 Soul Calibur
#14
