Long before Final Fantasy and the epics of today were crafted, there was once a man who took people to a magical land inhabited by mythical and magnificent creatures, where great warriors decended from gods took center stage to battle for divine supremacy. Their deeds shaped a nation, their strength upheld the virtues of fearlessness. In ancient greece, the traveling bard Homer, brought with him tales of epic magnitude. People would gather around and Homer's verse would transport them to Worlds of Fantasy that invigorated their imaginations much as role-playing video games do for gamers today.

Homer crafted two of the most famous epics to come out of classical Greece entitled the Iliad and the Odyssey.
