Simply known as that, the Elders have always been The Elders. No one has ever questioned why, everyone has simply known. The Elders are Eilians elite group of creatures. Not much about them is known except that when bad things start to happen, they show up to keep things in order.

Most creatures do not know the proper names of The Elders unless they are told. They keep a low profile, however some have been known to teach young ones, although many think these are simply legends.

When one elder dies, another is accepted into the council, but it is a long and hard process that only the Elders know details about.
