A LITTLE BOY TO A LITTLE GIRL AT THE BEACH
The mermaids sing and play;
on this rock we stay, faraway,
Peeking into their world
Under the waves.
They sing their song; ahh,
What sweet words they say,
Joy and happiness for everyone,
for every single day.
They tell of a world under the sea,
of how mankind used to be.
They offer us eternity
under the waves of the sea.
They offer us a life of joy and happiness;
Those mermaids under the sea.
But on this rock we have to stay, faraway,
And live with the world day to day
and listen to all the things
mother have to say.
AMBITION TO RULE THE WORLD
I have ambition to rule to the world.
I'll crown myself; Supreme Emperor,
King on the mountain and Lord under the Mountain.
I'll carve myself a castle
Into the side of a mountain
And tunnel a spiraling secret passageway
To the top, where I can survey the world.
And I shall built traps and dead ends and all
For those rare occasions
When some slaves or subjects should turn on me,
Through that spiraling tunnel I will run,
And then, on the top, I'll signal
with a self-portrait projected into the sky,
For my loyal slaves and subjects to see.
To my castle they'll come
With tanks and helicopters and aeroplanes,
And all the slaves and subjects who turned on me
Will tremble in fear.
Then from that mountain I shall descend.
Round and round the spiraling tunnels, I run
Into the arms of my beloved subjects.
And they will shout out great cheers
To see their beloved King
And hurry me to my armored car,
And drive me to my second home.
And then all those who raise against me
Shall be brought to kneel before me
And they will beg for their lives,
And their children will cry,
And their wives will say;
"Mercy on us! Mercy on us!
Then, amongst all that begging and wailing
Ill be sitting on my cushion chair
And my wife by my side will whisper gently,
Have mercy on them Lets go to Paris.
DAY DREAM (Princess)
I picture in my mind an image of you.
I draw your hair long and black as the night
to cover your breast and to hide a mystery.
I put you on a tropical island
and make you Princess of the Sea.
I make the sun shine sparely on your skin
to give you a nice brown tan.
I picture you in a thin red cotton dress.
I picture you standing, more beautiful than the rest.
I imagine you in my old Honda,
laying peacefully by the passenger side.
I imagine us going down some old, deep romantic road,
through the red woods of California,on bridges
going over a deep valley or chasm.
I see in my mind the invisible hairs on your skin.
I imagine seeing, counting, naming,
each individual strand.
I image you in the holy Garden of Eden
Kissing a holy peach.
I imagine you with dimple cheeks.
I imagine you with modesty and grace.
I picture you with perfect etiquette.
I picture you with a tender soul,
Ill turn that soul into a butterfly
and set it free to a meadow of yellow tulips.
I picture the day and night
and make you go to sleep
and then I come give you a kiss.
I picture the wind blowing your hair.
I picture the clouds transform into images of you.
I imagine the flowers to bloom in autumn,
the stars to come out in the day,
Christmas in July, snow in Texas,
world peace,
the return of Christ
Eternal youth, eternal life.
I believe in Heaven, Eternity,
Love, Fate, and a merciful God,
who answers all my prayers,
so I can have you.
THE FRESNO NEW YEAR
I
The Fresno New Year is over
and gone are the young lovers' joy.
In past weeks on love and mirth they fed.
Now all that reminds are memories in their heads.
Here and there,
a grandma or grandpa stayed behind,
perhaps to baby sit a grandchild.
But all the young lovers have return home
with heavy hearts.
They await a new year.
Now and then,
a boy calls the girl he love.
She has a smile so soft and pleasing.
Politely and nicely, she smile so kindly
to all the boys that talked to her.
And they all think to themselves,
"I would make her mine."
She holds her heart so tightly,
but all the boys think her;
meek and shy, meek and shy.
Oh, No! No! No!
Return not to Fresno.
Least your heart be seduce by her soft smile
and kind words again.
And the heavy heart drag itself home.
Sitting in some vacant airport all alone,
with the night coming on.
And the storm and clouds cover the sky
but can not hide the pain from your mind.
The rain and thunder ground the plane in the dark,
Forced you to feel the turmoil and churning in your heart.
You can never forget,
she looks so beautiful and kind.
You can feel her moving in your soul.
Her soft smile will forever hold you in awe.
So, No! Return not to Fresno.
Tell her not your secret dream.
Give your heart not to her,
Else you'll regret;
Those soft words,
that pleasing smile,
that angelic beauty,
will kill your pride,
throw your mind into confusion,
and darken the light forever.
II
Her beauty is not only skin deep,
this I can truly say.
Her whole being is beautiful.
That there is beauty of the face
I have seen.
That there is beauty of the heart
has been shown to me.
But never have I seen any possess
both beauties.
Ah, God endow her with modesty and grace.
These things I don't just say.
Poetic fancy see things
the common eyes can not see.
There is something there
that smile so pleasingly
and spoke so nicely.
There is an essence not confine
to any one part of her body.
But, she is not a goddess.
She is a person like me.
So, let the goddess dwell in Cupid's romantic sea,
but make her real, for me.
Endow her with thought and compassion.
Show her hatred and love,
but give her modesty and grace
and let her live in this age.
Ah, give her modesty and grace
that she may be preserve whole.
Let not the world
darken her soul.
Make her human and to Fresno I will go,
to see her.
Though she may hold her heart so tightly,
she speaks so nicely.
Her every gesture, every little movement,
every smile is so enticing.
Though in lonely airport we may sit
feeling the heart dying.
It was for her love
that we sacrifice Pride to uncertainty
and came flying.
Though the Light may be darken
if Pride should be savagely eaten
for some unforeseen reason.
It was because we wanted to be with MaiLee
that we risk such adventure
and toss Pride into the dark
and came searching for her heart.
When we reach her love
we can rise Pride from the grave
and all will be as before.
III
Heaven endow you with
modesty and grace.
Earth gave you such
a pretty face.
Your mother and father
gave you a name.
My world will never
be the same.
Life tells me
that the world is unkind.
Love tells me
that you are mine.
If tears should run down
your face.
God will be looked upon
in disgrace.
In the silence
of the dark.
I hold you
in my heart.
THE HELIUM SUN
The age of the hydrogen sun has long pasted,
Gone are the people of that age.
Now burns the helium sun
With its cool blue light.
All the people have pale, blue skin
And their eyes are ice cold.
Cars rolled along in parallel lines,
And each lone passenger shiver slightly
In unison with the Super-30X engine,
Humming a chilling melody.
It gives off no heat!
And the exhaust spit out bites of ice,
A miracle of technology
At the end times
Of the age of the hydrogen sun.
Now burns the helium sun
With it's blue light, dimly in the sky.
And every man shiver in the night
Praying for the return of Christ
Because they know the end is near.
