About the Horse His name is popping up in every prominent SIM stable. Decapolis has been siring some of the finest offspring that breeding has to offer and has passed on traits such has his gentle teddy-bear disposition and stamina to surpass most. He possesses a very balanced body, an excellent topline, good legs, a long upright neck and a beautiful classic short head. Out of our stallions he came into the picture around the time *Census came to Blackthorn Hills Farm, if memory serves me correct. A determined and confident stallion, he makes for a good competitor and a nice ride. He's really been kicking some butt with his endurance racing having won about half, if not more, of the races he's entered.

About the Sire Pilgrim is an excellent straight russian arabian stallion, with a nice show record. He was Champion in 1998 at the International Show in Münster and Champion in 2000 at the Russian Show at Pyatigorsk. Pilgrim was sired by Gips, a 1984 Russian Sensation. Gips was a All Nations Cup Champion, Aachen 1991 Reserve European Champion, Menton 1993 European Champion, Verona 1997 Top Ten World Championships, Paris 1996 Class winner European Championships, Vichy 1996 International Champion, Frauenfeld 1991 International Champion, and Wels 1995 International Champion. Gips was in turn sired by Mashuk, the son of the immortal Aswan. Aswan sired a very large amount of racing winners, and was a chief russian stallion.

About the Dam Marenga is a stunning Straight Russian Arabian Mare, who was/is owned by Sax Arabians. She was a European Junior Champion Mare, a German National Junior Champion Mare, and a European Reserve Senior Champion Mare. Marenga was sired by *Menes, the sire of U.S. National Champions, European Champions, and Swedish National Champions. *Menes was in turn sired by one of the greats, Nabeg, who was a huge influence on the russian arabian scene, and was one of the better SRA's at Tiersk. This mare has a very strong influence of Aswan in her through her dam, and Aswan sired 296 foals over 19 breeding seasons, many race & show winners.
