Welcome!

Welcome to What I Played Today, a blog about video games. Specifically each article here is a review of whatever video game I played most recently at the time of writing. My goal with this site is to provid reviews with enough infromation to help others make informed purchase decisions, as well as keep a running log of the games I play and my thoughts on them at the time.
I don't have a cut-off date of any kind, and I don't limit myself in regards to what platforms I play on. I have a large collection of game consoles dating back to the 1980s, as well as several dedicated gaming PCs all with widely varying specs and operating systems. If a game interests me, odds are I have a way to play it. I dabble a bit in all game genres, and while I have games I love in most major genres, my go-to genres are action RPGs, platformers, shooters, and arcade-style racing games. Ultimatly, the variety of games I cover here is dictated far more by my own personal prefernces, than by what games or platforms I have access to, as I will literally review just about anything I play.

So if the idea of reading video game reviews written by one random guy on the Internet, on a website that looks like it hasn't been updated in 10 years appeals to you, then check out the review index, or subscribe to the site's RSS feed. If you have any further questions or comments, you can check out the FAQ, or leave feedback in the guestbook.
