| Slowly, she slipped into the warm water streaming from the nozzle hanging in her upstairs shower. She pulled her long hair out of her face and let it fall down her back. Chris watched her silhouette turn in the shower through the frosted glass and contemplated getting in. He began to slip off his shirt and chains, leaving his jeans held up by belt around his waist. He knew that even if she did hear him, she couldn't tell who was there, because her glasses lay next to his on the sink. Quietly, he set his hand on the silver bar on the sliding glass door. It was cold to his touch and he had to refrain from jumping back. "Eva! Is that you in there?" Justin's voice yelled through the shower door. Chris froze immediately. His mind raced. 'Don't you dare open that door Justin! Don't you dare!' His thoughts pleaded with Justin, hoping he had some kind of connection with him. "Justin? Is that you?! This is Heather!" She yelled through the shower door. "Yea, it's me! Heather, do you know where Evangeline is? I can't find her or Ben anywhere!" Justin yelled worriedly. "Yeah, she took Ben, Justin, and Justina and went to the park. Ben wanted to go swing." Heather yelled, setting down the soap. Chris was relieved that it was Heather, and that Justin was not gonna come in. The shower shut off as Justin went back down stairs. Heather reached out and grabbed two towels. One, she wrapped around her hair and the other, around her torso. She slipped on her glasses and walked out the door. Quietly, Chris followed her into her room. She slipped on a bra and her underwear, along with a pair of shorts before Chris walked in. He snuck up slowly behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. Neither of them had a shirt on yet, and the heat from his body surprised her, yet she didn't turn around. He kissed her softly along her collar bone. She shivered slightly and leaned over her head, allowing him full access as she closed her eyes. "You don't have to say a word. Just relax. I'll do the work. I can't wait to give you some. I'm convinced. You need one." He whispered in her ear in between kisses. "I'm the place to be, and soon you'll see. I don't care who leads, as long as we move horizontally. Anyone can make you sweat, but I can keep you wet." Heather realized that he was obviously quoting a song. She giggled as he continued to blow and suck on her skin. She moved over toward the closet, Chris never letting go of her. Grabbing a shirt, she spun around quickly so he wouldn't let go. Wrapping her arms around his neck, she kissed him deeply, as he backed her against the wall. She wrapped her legs around his waist and he carried her over to their bed, each kiss deeper than the last. He laid her down and began to undo his belt. Suddenly, Ben, Justin A., and Justina flung open the door and ran into the room, screaming and laughing. Chris jumped off Heather and she quickly pulled on her shirt as Justin T. and Evangeline entered behind the kids. Seeing Chris messing with his belt and Heather tugging on her shirt, Eva apologized and gathered Ben into her arms. Justin was laughing and practically rolling on the floor. Chris flushed a bright red and strolled over to his dresser for a shirt. He picked up his daughter and kissed her gently on the forehead in the process. By this time, the all popular boy-band, `N SYNC has not broken up, but all but dropped out of existence. Chris earns a living designing clothes and producing other artists at The Man & Co. J.C. is pursuing a very successful solo career as is Justin. Lance is still fronting FreeLance Entertainment, and Joey is helping all the guys. Heather is Chris's wife, and Justin's adopted sister. They have two beautiful children, Justin Anthony, and Justina Nikole, twins, age two. Evangeline is a good friend of Justin's, whom he is in love with. They are not dating, nor is she dating, nor is she married, but she has a two-year-old son, Ben. She and Heather are both 21. Justin has just turned 22, and Eva will in August, along with Heather. Chris will be turning 32 in October. They have been married for three years, and Heather was "a secret relation of `N SYNC" for almost two years when they dropped out of the spotlight in 2002, when Chris turned 30. It wasn't because they weren't still popular, but they wanted to lead a normal life. So, when their contract expired, they decided not to resign, well most of them did. Chris slipped his shirt on, setting down his daughter and just sighed. Since he and Heath had gotten married, finding a moment alone had to be strategically planned out. They rarely had even a kiss alone since the twins were born. Justin was still laughing as he picked up Ben and carried him downstairs. Eva winked at the pair. "You want me to bring those two downstairs?" she asked motioning toward the toddlers stumbling around the room. "If you would, Eva, drop them in the nursery," Heather asked. She thought for a minute and finished the thought, "in the playpen or the crib. Oh, and turn the one-way monitor on." Evangeline nodded and rounded up the two, closing the door behind her. Chris immediately began to fondle Heather again. She pulled away and sits down at her pale mirrored dresser. He didn't give up, intent on having her. "Chris!" She cried out frustrated, "stop." "I want to. . ." he pleaded pitifully. "Yes, I know you do." She replied, straightening her shirt and glasses. "But you won't let me." He continued to whine, aggravated, because he was aroused and got stopped. "It's hardly a question of you needing my permission!" She spat back at him, upset that he would even half-way accuse her of not wanting him. "Then why won't. . ." "I don't want to get halfway and be interrupted again. You don't know how embarrassing it is to have your best friend, AND your brother walk in. Justin's just your friend, he'd cheer you on if it wasn't me." She explained, like it made all the sense in the world. Chris nodded, not believing what he was accusing her of. He walked over to the door and locked it. Nearly running back to her on the bed, taking off his shirt. As soon as he got his belt off, and her shirt, he began to work on her shorts and his own. He had finally gotten the buttons on her jeans undone and had gotten them off her, the phone rang. He ignored it, but she stopped him when the answering machine came on. "Chris, I KNOW your 'BUSY'," The voice of Joey came out loud and clear through the phone's answering machine. He laughed a few times. "But I don't care! You better get your sorry, HORNY, ass down here. We've got work to do." He continued to laugh. "So you better either pick up the phone, or page me and get down here, NOW!" Chris rolled off of Heather and picked up the phone. She rolled over and laid her head on Chris's chest as he waited for Joey to continue, pissed off for being interrupted again. "WHAT?" Chris growled into the reciever. "It's about time, Lucky!" Joey laughed into the receiver. "What do you want, Joe?" Chris roared back. "Rown! What, Lucky getting lucky? You don't need to say it. I know, 'shut the fuck up, Joe.'" "Got it in one, Fatone. Now, what do you need? What work needs to be done?" Chris retorted plainly. He was getting sick of all the interruptions. It seemed that they had some sort of tracking system, so that they knew when to call or knock. He reasoned it out to be a conspiracy. "For starters, there are updates on the site to do, not to mention, blueprints of designs to go over, PLUS, J.C. needs a backup harmony on one of his songs." "What's J.C. needing a backup harmony have to do with me?" "You've got the pitch he needs, remember, you've always accompanied J.C." "Oh, yeah, well, couldn't it wait a few hours?? Please say it can." "I don't know Chris. Hang on, I'll ask J.C." There were a few muffled yells and Joey returned to the phone. "The site and designs can, but he needs you as a back-up right away. So, you better get down here before he gets upset." "Let me talk to him, okay Joe?" Chris sighed into the phone. There were a few more hushed words and J.C. picked up the phone. "J.C. speaking, how may I be of. . ." "J.C. CUT da CRAP. Why does it have to be right now? Can't it wait about an hour and a half? Chris pleaded. He really didn't want to go to work. "Chris? Sorry, I need the song done by two." Chris glanced at the wall clock then at his watch that read 10:30. "But it's only eleven o'clock. J.C. can't I go in about noon? I REALLY don't want to go. I AM kinda busy." Chris continued to whine. "Chris, I know how much you goof in the studio. Let's just get it over with now, and then you can get back to doing whatever your doing with Heather. Come on, C.K. If we hurry, you can get back faster." J.C. reasoned with Chris. He didn?t want Chris to hate him, it wasn't his fault he had the tone J.C. needed. "Alright J.C., but Heather's coming with me." Chris bargained. There was no way he was giving her the chance to leave. "Are you sure that's safe? Are you gonna be able to work with her here?" Chris grunted in response to J.C.'s question. "Are you positive, Lucky? I mean, can you actually get work done with her here? Remember what happened last time?" J.C. asked. "Only fools are positive, J.C." Chris replied changing the subject. He remembered what happened all too well. "Then you must be positive, Chris. I asked if you remember what happened last time. You better answer me." J.C. knew he had him right where he wanted him. There was no squirming and joking his way out of this one. "Umm. . .no. . ." Chris lied, squirming out of another fix J.C. put him in. "Your lying, you do remember, you just don't want to answer me. Well, I'll remind you. You and Heather nearly jumped each other in the cafeteria, the bathroom, and while I was in the sound booth. If you two start that this time, I'm gonna have to get Heath to leave." J.C. clarified. He was not gonna let Chris get off that easy. "Okay, okay. What about what happened with Tara? Huh, Jay Cee?" Chris remembered that he wasn?t the only one who got a little 'excited' to see his girlfriend. "Okay, you got me, but that was different, I hadn't seen her in three months. You see Heather almost every hour of every day." J.C. fought back. "But not alONE!" Chris yelled out as Heather grabbed him. J.C. laughed. "Okay, enough of that, you two. Just get down here, Chris." "Okay, I'm on my way. See ya, J.C." Chris surrendered, hanging up the phone. |
