Samba de Amigo Wish List
(I like the feel of wood.)

This section is a list of the stuff I'd like to see in a new version of Samba de Amigo.

-Hardware wish list-

- The maracas' wires should be coiled, to stop them from winding around themselves.

- Or, even better, the maracas could use batteries and send radio waves to the main unit. This way you'd be able to spin your maracas and stuff. Just to show off.

- The mat should be made of fabric. Also, there shouldn't be velcro bits since they aren't really needed and just get buggered up.

- The maracas should have a wood exterior and be painted.

- Whatever platform the new game is on, there should be an adaptor made so that folk can use their old maracas if they so wish.

-Software wish list-

- All the songs that were available to play on the original or v2000 or were available to download from the net should be available in this game, along with perhaps a few new ones.

- The original mini-games should be present, along with the game from v2000.

- The original and hustle modes should remain the same as they were in the previous games.

- As well as the overall score for each difficulty level with 1,2 or 3 songs on the different modes, each song should have its own high score (though maybe these should have only 5 spaces).

- An advanced mode where different coloured balls indicate that some of the beats need to be hit with a particular maraca and any shakes in the wrong place count as a miss. However, these shakes which count as a miss would need to be reasonably strong - not like in the 1,2,3 Samba mini-game.

- There should be a selection process of how strong you need to shake in advanced mode.

- Even if the beats don't turn out as good as on the pre-made patterns, you should be able to play to your own music, like in Vib Ribbon.

- There should be an option to turn on the lyrics to a song which appear karaoke style so that folk can sing along.

- Along with the original, hustle and love love modes (and advanced - suggested above?), there should be a mode where you can use a dance mat as well as the maracas. The dance mat could plug into a socket in the sensor unit, and this would be a totally optional mode, just for those who wanted it.
