COSACU MATSURI-COSPLAY CONTEST

MIRACLE IS ANOTHER WORD OF AN EFFORT_To The Beautiful You ( K-Movie )

Well, this is or PTL project which name is Cosacu Matsuri or Cosplay Contest. Cosplay itself has the meaning as costum play. As we know that Cosplay usually use by the people who love anime or manga to express or showing their favourite anime’s style. But in our project we want to make Indonesian people including the Cosplayer itself realize about our culture, so here we make the Cosplay with Indonesian culture in it. We will allow the Cosplayer to follow their favourite anime style, but we also have some challenge to them to change those anime style with Indonesian culture as creative as they can. So it can be like the style of Unyil, Kang Kabayan, etc. Meanwhile they also still can use the anime style just like Naruto, Gara, and etc, but they must use Indonesian culture as well to express those anime’s style.

In our final project, we had shown an event. There are some activities that we make in that event, just like Fashion show, Talent show, some performances and etc. So in here, we will show what we have done along this one month. In here we invited the Cosplayer to show their talent with their own Indonesian Culture Costum.

Back to our purpose behind this Cosplay. Our purpose is not only to make Indonesian people realize about Indonesian culture, but also we want to show that Indonesian culture also as good as the anime country culture itself or maybe Indonesian culture is better than those anime country culture. Here we also want to help government’s target to make Indonesian culture exist or famous . We hope that from this project we can encourage another Cosplayer from another places in Indonesia to show Indonesian culture as well in their every Cosplay activity. We also hope that this event also can be famous in the overseas, so they can know how good Indonesian culture is and how creative Indonesian people is.
