Unsure where to go the child walked on and on and on. Somewhere in her journey she met an old man who walked with her halfway home. Parting ways, the old man gave the child some magic beans.
The mother was furious upon seeing her return and threw the beans out of the house. The beans having magic in them grew high. Up to the clouds it went. Up ! Up! Swaying in breeze it grew and grew and grew!
It was so tall that it leaned as if to fall. Jack the beanstalk! Jack the beanstalk ! the mother cried. Jack it with this lumber or it will crush our house!
