WAITING FOR A GHOST
ZO
THE NAME
Greek; Variant of "Zoe." Means "life" in Greek. This was the name of two early saints, one martyred under emperor Hadrian, the other martyred under Diocletian. The name was also borne by a ruling Byzantine empress.THE ANALYSIS
Although the name Zo creates the urge to understand and help others, we stress that it causes a blunt expression that alienates others.MY THOUGHTS
When I was younger, I hated my name. Maybe it was because most of my friends have fancy-schmancy French/Cajun/Acadian names like Martine, Adelaide, and Annette, but I just thought my name was bizarre and a little on the short side. But now, I love it. I can never remember what the two dots above the "e" (diaeresis) are called, but I like them. I think it gives it personality...or something.THE GIRL
