With the help from a loyal guard, Phi Yen is able to sneak Le Thi, the wife of General Ngu Phung Giao, into prison. Le Thi stays there and fakes the Queen while the prison guard lends his newborn child to replace the prince. As Thiet Ho finds out about their plan, Luc Long Hoi has successfully borrowed troops from a near by country and wipe out Thiet Ho's army.

Blaming his daughter's betrayal on Long Hoi, he tries to kill his son-in-law. Howevr, Phi Yen blocks the blade and is seriously injured. While knowing that her father deserves nothing but death, Phi Yen begs the court officials to forgive her father and spare his life. In return, she is willing to take all any kind of punishments for him. Witnessing death drawing close upon the life of his daugther, Thiet Ho realizes his mistakes and commits suicide. Shortly after, Phi Yen dies in the arms of her husband.

Review
This is an excellent movie with an interesting and exciting plot. In the role of Phi Yen, Tai Linh is so cute when she thought that her husband is having an affair. I like the words she used to yell at him - the meaning of her sentences carry a serious tone, but yet she managed to bring out the comical side of it. As for the ending, I absolutely loved it! Both Tai Linh and Vu Linh did a good job at those theatrical movements.

It is sad to witness the price a daugther has to pay for her father's mistakes. Revenge and greed have completely torn apart one good family apart, both father and daughter died leaving the husband with only grief and painful memories. I felt sorry for General Luc Long Hoi, he is strong enough to save one country but doesn't have the control over his wife's life and death nor does he have the strength to bring her back.
