Summary
Once again, the Han Dynasty faces another political crisis. After Dong Trac's attempt to overthrow the young emperor, Tao Thao follows the same footstep. In hope to suppress his ambition, several generals come up with an assassination plan. Thao learns about the plan and all of these generals are beheaded, including the father of Ma Sieu, the Emperor's brother-in-law, and the Emperor's concubine. Upon receiving the news, Ma Sieu's mother dies instantly. To revenge for his family, as well as to stand up for the country, Ma Sieu uses his powerful army, and along with his wife, they wage war against Tao Thao. Losing in the battle, he disguises himself and tries to escape. However, Ma Sieu successfully tracks him down and beheads the traitor at once.

Review
This is one of those movies where I can watch many times. The story as well as performances are extraordinary. Tai Linh and Vu Linh are very powerful at the end and I totally love them as war generals - not to mention a very romantic scene between the two in the middle of the film.

As for others, I like Minh Phung and My Chau. Really loved their death scene and Thanh Tong is also great as a villian. He is usually perfect in those of roles. In fact, I liked him as Tao Thao in this film better than in Lu Bo Quy Vi.
