Summary
Thanh and Hoa are deeply in love with each other, but the differences between their social classes becomes the border of separation. Thanh's mother uses her death as a threat to force him to leave town and study abroad. At home, she kicks Hoa off her property even though fully aware of Hoa's pregnancy with Thanh's baby. A year later, Ba Hoi Dong sends a servant to steal the baby in hope to end the love between Hoa and Thanh. Unable to deal with the tragical lost of her child, Hoa gives up her life and becomes a nun.

Seventeen years later, the long lost son, Minh, is a servant in Thanh's house. Through Ba Tu's story, Tot begins to suspect Minh's identity. Through an incident, Minh and Tot runs into Hoa at a temple. Thus, the tradegy of seventeen years ago forces itself back into her life. At last, she gets to see his son. Thanh and Minh are reunited and Hoa continues on with her temple life.

Review
This movie has one heck of a depressing storyline. I don't recall seeing Tai Linh laugh or smile in any scenes. Although it is a typical love story with a different twist and turn, overall it is a good film. Vu Luan's performance is good and I tend to only enjoy him taking on teenager roles rather than adult roles.
