Dr Cyrus Shroff is graduate of AIIMS. He received Gold Medal for best fellow in Vitreo retinal Surgery-Sankara Nethralaya in 1983. He has participated in various vitreo retinal Symposia and CME programmes at National and International level as Convenor and guest lecturer. He has visited centres of excellence in Vitreo retinal surgery in Europe and USA and closely observed and interact with Pioneers notably Dr Robert Machemer at Duke University Durham,Dr Charles Schepens in Boston ,Dr John Scott at Cambridge,Dr R.Zivojnovic at Antwerp and many others. He was appointed Honorary Ophthalmic Surgeon to the President of India in 1997. Presently he is Medical Director at shroff Eye Centre and also a member of Board of Trustees of Dr Shroff`s Charity Eye Hospital Delhi. |
