Prof. Amod Gupta is an accomplished teacher and heading the department of Ophthalmology,PGI Chandigarh since 1989. He graduated from Medical College Rohtak and did postgraduation from PGI Chandigarh. He has been the recepient of various awards and honours prominent of them are Dr,R.N. Mathur award and A.W.Sherrif Memorial award in 1998. He is President of VitreoRetinal Society-India. He has to his credit more than 120 research publications in national and international journals and is much sought after speaker in national forums in retinal diseases. He continues to propagate his knowledge by teaching and training the residents in ophthalmology since the past two decades. |
