Feminism is defined by many as “the advocacy of women’s rights on the ground of the equality of the sexes.”. However, this meaning has long since been lost - which is a shame.
As I’m sure many of you are all aware, feminism is no longer what it was originally. Feminism was a concept brought into action to stop women from being oppressed and bring equal rights to men and women (and everything in between) and has been largely successful for the last few centuries. Back in the day (or century), women were expected to stay at home and knit and not allowed an education. As obviously known nowadays, women and men have equal rights in almost everything. They both attend school, have voting rights, are treated with equal respect and are treated virtually identically, so men and women are now almost the same in terms of treatment and life quality.
However, there is a large problem with this. Ironically, in the last few years - since the start of the new millennia - women have destroyed the meaning of the word. Now, feminism is associated with bigoted imbeciles such as Laci Green or FeministFrequency. Such “feminists” (rightly called “feminazis” by many netizens) make videos and state opinions on how women are oppressed in modern culture apparently. They make the claim but never provide evidence. How is this anything but saturated, biased opinion? If you don’t believe me yourself, watch any of Andy Warski’s reactions (descriptive and well done reactions, might I add) to any of Laci Green’s videos or feminism. One video, published by user FeministFrequency talks about how women are nothing but “sex objects” in modern culture and especially in videogames. (I won’t moan on about this, this will have it’s own post in the distant future), and how for example women are always used in skimpy clothing on various advertisements. That is their choice and they are paid to do it - it is their job. Nobody goes up to them and forces them to do this job. See, if I were to be presented a 2015 make of a car and a 2005 make of a car plus a date with Jennifer Lawrence, I’d go for the latter. Which straight male can refuse a date with Jen, even if it means a compromise? Sex appeal is often used by marketers to advertise a product, and half the time it actually works. What do you think would happen if they advertised really fat and bad-looking men on Calvin Klein advertisements? Of course they wouldn’t, it’s a tactic.
You see, I’m all about feminism. I don’t care if you’re male or female, black or white, straight or gay, I don’t give a fuck. I respect you all the same, as long as you’re not a moron. And I’m sure that the vast majority of men feel the same. However, these aforementioned “feminazis” have a hobby of over-analysing statistics and trying to “explain” that their opinion is right without actually providing any evidence. Take a video by Laci Green for example, where she talked about how YouTube is apparently sexist, because more male YouTubers are watched than female. So what? That’s not sexism, that’s statistics. Maybe it’s not because “all men are pigs” and we all think women should be our slaves used only for sex, maybe it’s because they make quality content?
I have met these feminazis in real life too, and it is not a pleasant experience. I got into a heated argument a year or so ago with some 21 year-old student about how “young boys (I’m thirteen) continuously disrespect females and are unceasingly sexist”. Well, who cares? First of all, this is extreme generalisation, and secondly, yes, our generation is stupid. But we’re not even the legal age to work in most places, so who cares? Who would actually care about children being disrespectful? Every kid loves being disrespectful - that’s just what we are, dammit. I for one, am different and treat everybody besides assholes the same. I really couldn’t care less, but unfortunately as mentioned, these crazy-ass SJWs really can’t stop. The Suffragettes didn’t go through what they did for this shit! They wanted equality for both genders, not unnecessary and unwanted misandry, fighting for “justice and what’s right”.
I’m also familiar with the argument of women being sexualised in videogames and modern entertainment. This is because most people who play videogames are male (this is not sexism, this is a fact), and they are naturally attracted to women, so a “gift” is given to the player in reward for purchasing the game. Why is not understood that this is how society is, and it’s perfectly equal? Damn, all these idiots fighting to “make the world right”. The world is a terrible shithole and’ll never be perfect. Why don’t you send a lunchbox to kids in Africa who are starving to death rather than moaning about how “society disrespects women with short hair”. Do these people think that their efforts will actually do anything? Have they not realised that they should actually get their shit together and provide some solid evidence, and try and do something worthwile like promoting equal voting rights for both genders in countries where this is not yet accepted, rather than bitching on about the tiny little hinderances in life which nobody wants to listen to them about?
Do you not believe me on this? Well, take a look at only some of the wonderful sources of information on this. Absolutely top notch content here…

You can also obviously find people like this anywhere in real life. Run away as quickly as you can, don’t bother engaging in conversation. It’s not worth it and they don’t care. In short, feminism = good, being an sjw feminazi asshole = not good. So, you should abandon the term “feminism” as this implies that you want “women to have equal rights as men”, and you are associated with the extremist kind. We should all become “humanists”, where “we seek equal rights for both genders, and are at the same level in society”. Wasn’t that the whole original concept behind feminism?
I apologise for the rant, and believe it or not, this may have a follow-up post sometime in the future, because this subject is not over. But for the next few weeks, it likely will be for me.
I’m out.
