.
There have been many reports of this being for the past 40 years. Here is a list of accounts I have collected from people who claim that they have heard of those that may have experienced something paranormal. They are obviously anecdotal rumors so discretion is advised.

-
1961: A farmer was driving to a friend's residence near dusk and saw a dark shape standing out in his field. When he looked again, it was gone.

-
1973: A man driving home from work at 10:30 p.m saw a strange person in a black cloak standing on the side of the road before dashing away.

-
1979: A young couple walking in the woods at 7:00pm swear they saw a  strange figure fade into the forest roughly 20 yards ahead of them.

-
1985: A a local man claimed that he caught a glimps of a dark humanoid shape in the woods of a trail. The atmosphere filled him with a nervous feeling.

Eyewitness Sketches.

-
1986: Three boys were playing on the field when they saw a tall man in dark clothing. When they glanced at him for a second time, he had vanished.

-
1987: A man looked out his window at about 9:20 p.m. and saw a person wearing a black hood standing in the woods watching him.

-
1992: A man and his dog were jogging down a forest path when the dog suddenly started barking at thin air before running off.

-
1994: At about 8:15 p.m. a boy felt we was followed by an un-seen presence down a quiet street. Concerned, his parents contacted the authorities.

-
1995: A woman on Guthrie road and noticed what she could only describe as a cloaked man with some sort of bladed weapon on the roadside.
See:
The Armed Enitity.

-
1997: A local bird watcher was in the area when he saw a black figure in the woods. He took two photos and fled the scene when it crossed the trail and looked towards him.

-
1998: At the scene of a car crash in a downtown intersection, four men claimed to have seen a dark figure hovering above the ground by the steaming wreck.

These odd occurences may not all be linked but some say that they all were the works of the same spirit. These may not be the most reliable of accounts, but their mere pressence is compelling none the less.
