Airbox Mod- Cold Air Intake: Page 2
Once all the hoses were connected up and the filter in place, it was simply a matter of sealing up the pre-heater intake to prevent exhaust gases escaping into the open air, giving it a quick clean and returning the airbox back into the car for a test-run.
The total cost of the project
worked out something like this:

Pod Filter-        RRP AU$39.95
Airbox & hose-        AU$15.00 from a wrecking yard

     - I recommend getting a second airbox simply so that if you make a huge screw up, you still have the factory one, and also, if u decide its no good, or if u get booked, the old airbox can be chucked straight back in in minimal time.

All in all, it is a good project for the weekend fiddler to get some experience- namely for young people like me- its a good starting point where there isnt too much that you can destroy!
